Terms of Service

These terms govern use of MortgagesBooked (www.mortgagesbooked.co.uk) — both by people making mortgage enquiries and by mortgage brokers using our platform.

What MortgagesBooked is

MortgagesBooked is an introduction and appointment-booking service. We connect people who want mortgage advice with independent, FCA-authorised mortgage brokers. We are not a mortgage broker or lender and we do not give financial advice. Any advice you receive comes from the broker you speak to, who is responsible for that advice under their own FCA authorisation.

For people making an enquiry

• Using our service is free for you. Brokers pay us for booked appointments.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to attend (or reschedule) appointments you book.
• We may contact you by phone, SMS or email about your enquiry and appointment.

For brokers

• You must hold appropriate FCA authorisation to advise on regulated mortgage contracts.
• Appointments are charged per your account's pricing; credits and billing are handled through your portal and Stripe.
• You are the data controller for enquiries you claim, and must handle them in line with UK GDPR.
• Optional calendar connections grant us read-only free/busy access only, used solely for availability; you can disconnect at any time.
• We may suspend accounts that misuse the platform, mistreat leads, or breach these terms.

Liability

We provide the platform with reasonable skill and care, but we are not liable for the advice given by brokers, for a lender's decision, or for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

General

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
